Cholesterol is a waxy substance found in your bloodstream. While a healthy level of cholesterol is perfectly acceptable and needed to make hormones and build cell membranes, an excess amount of cholesterol, especially in a person with diabetes can cause a build-up of bad fats in the lining of your arteries, attributing to dangerous heart disease and can lead to a stroke or heart attack. It is very difficult to control high cholesterol in a person with diabetes because diabetes & cholesterol are combative against each other. Talking with your doctor can help you figure out if any of the diabetic medications you are currently taking can be adjusted as studies have found that some medications for diabetes can actually help to lower cholesterol levels, when adjusted properly.

Are you unhappy with the size and look of your breasts and are considering getting an implant to improve them? Many women choose to get breast enhancement surgeries all of the time and their reasons are generally the same; they want to feel better about their appearance and they think that a breast augmentation will give them the confidence that they are searching for. Every case and patient is different in their breast implant desires. Some wish to have extra large breasts after living half of their life being flat chested. In these cases, a large amount of silicone or saline solution (around 800-1000cc’s) will be inserted in the implant. If you wish to simple have your breasts be a bit fuller and lifted a tad bit more, 500cc implants should do the trick. You won’t turn heads when you walk out the door in a tank top, but you will have even and full breasts, just like you desired
I do not have the time nor the help to get checked in to a full rehabilitation clinic but I know that I need help. As a mother of 2, married to a military officer who is rarely home I am developing a severe case of alcoholism. I can admit that, but only to myself. I am grateful for the help that I have received already on the Internet because I can be totally anonymous and still get a lot of help. Recently I was told in a chat room that there is a Alcohol Addiction CD that has worked for a number of people. Looks like that is my next step.
Bill - you are right, I am lacking self-confidence but I have had that problem all of my life. It’s not something I can just snap out of by myself. I almost wonder if at times I need people around me that feel like I do so that we can support each other…I am too embarrased most the time to tell anyone about my problems.

Reducing your weight by eliminating excess fats from your diet is also a good indicator that you are trying to find a good balance of cholesterols in you body. Checking with your physician to get your body fat count will help you get a good idea of what types of steps you need to take to lower your cholesterol levels. If you are a smoker, it is incredibly important that you try and stop that habit. Smoking is one of the top 6 leading causes for heart disease. That, along with a high cholesterol reading puts you at a huge disadvantage health-wise. Exercising regularly is also a factor in maintaining or achieving a low cholesterol reading. Moderate exercise for at least 30 minutes four to six times a week will help build up your body mass while decreasing your bad cholesterol readings, thus giving you a manageable and healthy cholesterol HDL ratio to continue leading a healthy and active lifestyle.
