I work in central supply at the local hospital. It is my job to clean, disinfect, sterilize, and package the equipment and supplies that are used during surgery. Following surgery, I clean the equipment and supplies. This includes the endoscopes, or special borescopes, that are used during the procedure. After sterilization in the autoclave, I package up the supplies and equipment so they are ready for future surgeries. I really like my job, and it is nice to know that my job is important.
