The V-up technique is quite effective in appropriate excercises for love handles. This exercise is performed by lying on the floor on your back (or you may use a bench to lie on) raise your arms and hands in the direction of the ceiling. Bend your knees. Dip your face toward the ceiling with your head resting on the floor. Begin toe raise your torso off the floor while tightening the muscles of your abdomen. Simultaneously, raise your legs straight up and try to touch your feet with your hands. Go back to the starting position and repeat several times.
