I do believe that the biggest benefits of sauna are the ones that are associated with the mental health of a person. You could go into a sauna feeling really down and stressed out but once you come out of a twenty or thirty minute session, your body is so relaxed that your mind cannot focus on the stress anymore and has to relax itself. There have been many people that have gone into the sauna mad at someone or themselves and have taken the time to sit and relax, were able to think things through and walked out of the sauna with a whole new attitude.
